Excuse Miss Lady, If I May

So. I am HOOKED.

I finished book two today..and subsequently neglected EVERYTHING. I am wholly admitting that I just gotta finish this series so my life can return to normal. Though, I have vowed not to start book three until the weekend, so I can shiz done.

So if you stumbled on me today, you woulda found me scrubbed out and looking a little something like this...
Familiar?

Today was a wonderful day, aside from the hours I spent glued to a couch. I worked a split, met LoLOBeans for lunch at Panera. I had the marvelous Greek salad, and he the Sierra turkey.

It is hard to believe that beauty has less than 400 calories. Ohhhhh you mean it doesn't include the giant hunk of crusty French bread? Bummer.

Do you ever get totally absorbed into books?
What do you order at places like Panera?
What is your favorite kind of bread?

I haven't read The Hunger Games (yet) but I've heard they're totally enthralling. I'm currently sucked into the first book of the Game of Thrones series...but its 800 pages and school started and all I want to do is read!!! Enjoy the third!

I totally felt the same way -- I just wanted to finish the books (because I loved them + I wanted my life back).

I kind of feel that way about Mad Men now -- I only have 4 more episodes left but I feel like I've gotten nothing done since I started watching them.

When I go to Panera I always get the you pick two. I get the mediterranean veggie toasted (so much better warm), and soup. YUM.

I get so absorbed into books I lose entire days. It's not good sometimes. :)

At Panera, I'm a you pick two gal. Classic Salad, black bean soup (or vegetable) and an apple. Nom Nom.

My favorite kind of bread is the kind that you can eat. Seriously. I could eat ANY and ALL bread. I love bread. So does my husband...

I know how you feel - I think one of the reasons that I usually only read professional-type books is that otherwise, I'll get so into them that I have NO choice but to finish them before I do anything else...ever. So if I do decide to read, I'll start on Friday night or Saturday so that I actually have plenty of time to finish a book without it being too impactful to my life.

As far as bread goes - I haven't eaten much besides diet bread over the last 18 months. However, sourdough is my absolute favorite. I have a pretty good starter recipe as well that I let ripen for 2 weeks and it bakes a very, very nice homemade loaf. Love the sourdough...

I am a total book whore. My hubby gets mad because I get totally absorbed into my books ALL the TIME. :)

I've never been to Panera... not even sure they have those in Utah. There's a place that sounds similar, called Paradise Bakery. Their turkey sandwiches are AMAZING.

and... I love ALL bread equally. but my all time FAVORITE is sourdough. toasted... wif butta!

Books are my way of escape, I get so absorbed I find myself TALKING OUT LOUD, but this you know. At Panera its all about the carbs and the SOUP - love me a soup and sandwich combo. Hawaiian sweet bread rules all other bread, there is nothing compared to a hawaiian sweet roll - its sheer minature size and GI-NORMEOUS flavor is mind blowing. Eat with caution.
