I really DON'T want to talk about the marathons, but I need to.
Here is what I will say for now:
The first 14 miles were the best miles of my life.
I did not finish.
I am really depressed.
An ambulance was called. Don't worry it was for liability purposes, it wasnt serious.
I did not get out of bed until this morning, to go to the doctor.
My knee finally gave out
So I gave up.

Ugh, this gave me a pit in my stomach. I'm so sorry it didn't work out. Here's what I do when this stuff happens:
1) Take a few well-deserved days to feel really bad.
2) Switch from feeling sad to feeling really angry.
3) Switch from angry to determined that I'm going to work even harder so I will do awesome next time.
Keep your chin up - you can do it!
Dude. I have no words. Just know I'm keeping my fingers crossed for our future runs...and glad I was part of nearly 8 of the best miles of your life!
I am so so sorry. Hugs and love.

YOU did not give up - your body took it up on itself to tell your mind DONE FOR THE DAY - your so strong willed and such a tough chick your body knew SHE AINT GONNA QUIT so it stopped itself for you. Give yourself some time to heal. Your not a quitter or a failure. Your the strongest person I know. Love You.
I'm so sorry!
Don't get discouraged! You've inspired me to run my own marathon in March.

Oh no! I just read your race recap. What was the diagnosis on your knee? How long must you not run? Keep your chip up!
