Gettin' Paper

"This post will be brief.

Why? Logan nagged me to read a book. Riiiiiight! Who READS? gross.

Anyway, he downright harassed me about reading The Hunger Games. Which was introduced to him via Manda. Well I have been severely distracted by this novel. So much so I skipped my run today just to finish it. I kept saying "one more chapter, then I run..." I said that 23 times and it was dark. All I can say is, read it.

So if anyone happened to stumble on me tonight, you'd find me stunned clinging to my iPad adorned in my running get up, looking a little like this...

I am kind of ashamed to admit this, but other David Sedaris compilations I can't remember the last novel I read. I am kind of partial to 50lb text books, that leave me zero time for leisure reading.

Oh and buy these pretzels...thank me later!

Do you read for fun?
When and what was the last book you read?
Have you read The Hunger Games?

Hunger Games is on my list of "to read." I love David Sedaris too! I've been engulfed by the Song of Ice and Fire series as of late (Game of Thrones). Long books but you can't put them down!

I haven't read The Hunger Games yet, but everyone is talking about it, so I guess I should pick it up soon! My mom is a bookworm so I'm sure it will end up in the house at some point.

I just finished The Help, and I'm currently reading Little Bee. The Help was super duper good, and Little Bee is good so far!

Other than Harry Potter, these are the first few books I've picked up in longer than I'd like to admit.

Reading IS my favorite hobby/past time.

Right now I'm reading "Cradle and All" by James Patterson. Before that I read another James Patterson.

No, I have not read the Hunger Games, but am intrigued now. :)

I haven't read for fun in a few months - read a lot of different books for work, but the last fun book I read was by Christopher Moore - think it was A Dirty Job. If you enjoy silly, comedy-drama books, you'd enjoy his writings. Kinda Tom Robbins meets Douglas Adams.

As a high school English teacher, yes, I do read. Constantly. LOVE IT.

Hunger Games - wonderful!

The last book I read was "If I Stay" (another young adult book). Read it in one day - one sitting rather. Good book, easy read.

Have you read "Born to Run"?? You'd like it, all about running, very interesting!!

Fantastic series, these books have now traveled through our entire family. There is nothing like Katniss.
